Since 1955, we have been able to gain significant experience and acquire important knowledge in the field of high-pressure die casting (HPDC), which makes up our expertise. Today, we are not only the ‘die casting supplier’ for our customers, but also take on a wide range of tasks (system supplier) with the aim of achieving a cost-optimised product.

A company with continuous development.

Matthies Druckguss can look back on a long and successful history: The first major milestone was set more than 65 years ago when Willy Matthies founded the company. Just five years later, the current plant was built, which is still the hub of Matthies Druckguss's production today, having undergone continuous modernisation.
Technical developments and an entrepreneurial spirit of innovation are the driving force behind the expanding family business and have also established it on international markets. The fact that Matthies Druckguss has also proven itself in terms of quality since then is demonstrated by various awards - such as third place in the European high-pressure die casting competition in 2022.
Matthies Druckguss was under the management of Jörn Matthies until 31 December 2018. At the turn of the year, the company was handed over to his son Marco Matthies, who had been supporting him as Operations Manager since 2008. Together, they were able to achieve their quality goal and successfully realise 100% in-house toolmaking.
Another important milestone: the subsidiary brand matthies cast design. Thanks to an innovative high-pressure die casting production principle with surface finishing, it is now possible for the first time to use die-cast products in the decorative sector - and with maximum cost-effectiveness. Matthies Druckguss will continue to develop further in the future and thus realise customer wishes to their complete satisfaction.
